04:55 pm - Brit-tastic updates! Click the pic to go to my website, it's just been updated for the first time with English pictures. I've been here for a while now and it's been an intense experience but a good one. Instantly gaining kids would be a big step to anyone, so I'm not worried, they still love me. oh yeah. Interesting about coming into the country though, as I stood at the immigration podium with the women with the rubber visa stamps I said the words 'yes, six months' and her face changed and I suddenly became a terrorist. You see, on a standard vacation visa the maximum time is six months. So I said that and her flags all flew up. So I sat down and waited 40 minutes for the immigration officer to come get me, where they went through both my bags and carry ons for 45 minutes, then I was pat down, all my electronic devices were confiscated and I was put in the detention room. Complete with plastic observation windows and a dozen non English speaking people. At that point I went back and forth from that detention room to the plastic box interrogation rooms a couple times over three hours. Where she grilled me about how unprepared and dumb I was or something like that. I had several thousand dollars and a free place to stay so I'm not sure what her problem was, after all if I wanted to do it illegally I could have just said two weeks then stayed there, but anyway, I did eventually get in, but now a lot of people I know in England call me 'Abdhul.' Now that I'm here I'm learning how to be a house husband for now, along with taking an absurd amount of pictures which you'll be seeing at my website. btw my two favorite crisp (chips) flavors are prawn cocktail and smokey bacon. In some exciting news my will-be step son Chris' band Little Thief is still doing well. They were on BBC radio AGAIN recently on a live show where they played three live songs and gave a ten minute interview. They've got a development contract and are currently working with all the right people to make them (even more) kick ass. Also: if you go to their myspace page (link above) and go to their pictures, pages 2-5 are all pics I recently took at one of their gigs. It's been raining for several days and really... I still don't mind at all. The air smells wonderful and it's not too hot (which it was last week). I've just had a lunch of sausage rolls with two cherry bakewells. Now a Dairy Milk with caramel chocolate bar is staring at me so I'd better go. Ta ta my friends, please drop me a line. Current Mood: awake

10:52 pm - Random location pics This is an area I found accidentally while searching for a burnt-down house in Finley. I drove to the end of a road and nearly hit the river, then found a gate that was open. I walked through because I'm dangerous and cool, to find an abandoned railroad track along with a ramshackle house. Also there were silos, most likely a way to put grain or something into rail cars. 11:14 pm - England-land III Well, here it is, the next magical myster picture tour of my time in the UK, This one is the third. Below are a sample of the weird pictures that I take, like them or you're dumb. This was actually taken just off Westminster in London, at the aquarium. I don't know why I like it so much, but at least now you know where the bathrooms are. It might take a while to load. Don't complain. 10:16 pm - Halloween 2006 It was a small and quaint affair at my parents' house in Kennewick. It involved a smoke machine, a severed arm, a tunnel of horror, two different vampires from the 30's and a projector. It's a mixture of black and white film shots along side a few color digital pics. This is my front picture not because it has anything to do with halloween (other than how spooky it is) but because I took it to finish off the roll of b&w.
